Leona Cox

Leona Cox, age 93, of Hickory Plains, Arkansas died June 11, 2012. She was born April 22, 1919 to George and Etta Putman. Leona was a Christian and loved her Lord tremendously. She was a wonderful mother and loved her grandchildren dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Cox; daughter, Mary Jo Cox; brothers; sisters; nieces and nephews. Leona is survived by a daughter, Otha Nell Parker of Hickory Plains; three grandchildren, Terry Parker, Tammy and Pat Bruce; many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Butlerville Cemetery.
