Leoda Mae Collins

Leoda “Lee” Collins, 79, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on February 11, 2024.  She was born in Beebe, Arkansas on September 19, 1944, to the late James and Bonnie Wiggins.   

Lee is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Billy R. Collins, and sister, Lowetta Bishop.  She is survived by her children, Billy Collins, Leta Collins (Steve Arnold), and Steve Collins; grandchildren, Christine Rosalas and Roger Arnold; as well as three great-grandchildren; twin sister, Leona Kelley and brother, Bobby Shirley. Lee is also survived by her friend and caregiver, John Jacques.

She was a member of Life Tabernacle Church. Lee enjoyed tending to her beautiful rose bushes.  She loved feeding the cats that always showed up at her house.  She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Life Tabernacle Church (23903 Hwy 107) with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
