Lena Puckett

Lena Hale Puckett, 91, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 24, 2014. She was a member of Levy Baptist Church, a devout Baptist, and faithful church member for over 30 years. She was a faithful wife for 47 years, loved her granddaughters and always tried to live in peace with everyone without quarreling. She always strived to do what she thought was right. She worked as a machine operator at Westinghouse Electric for 32 years.
She is survived by her son, James and his wife, Carol of Frisco, Texas; two grandchildren, Jamie Renee (Josh) Cleven, of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kirby (Joe) Davis, of Frisco, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Kyle and Bryce Cleven and Kinsey, Kimber, Lindsey, Joey Davis; brother, Ronnie (Becky) Hale; and sister, Sally (Billy) Wise, all of North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Eli and Mary Webb Hale; husband, Roy A. Puckett; brother, Earl (Grace) Hale; stepmother, Fern Hale; and Lena's special friend, James Stroud.
Memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church, 3501 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118 or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, 904 Autumn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
