Lena Lucille Herrin, age 91, of Bismarck, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Hot Springs. She was born February 6, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Rosie McDaniel Kindred. Lucille was a homemaker, a retired seamstress and a member of Bismarck Pentecostal Church. She loved quilting, gardening, and outdoor activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Herrin and one grandson, Ricky Curtis
Foltz. .
Survivors include one daughter, Hilda Wilson and husband, Wilburn of Bismarck; two sons, Kenneth Herrin and wife, Carol of Malvern; Rick Herrin and wife, Carolyn of Bismarck; eight grandchildren, Kim Eads, Kristi Buckholz, Michael Herrin, Heath Herrin, Randy Foltz, Lisa Rae Spinks, Sallee Herrin and Stephanie Yarbrough; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; one brother, James Kindred of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Zelma Knighten of Bismarck and Mildred Lester of Hot Springs. .
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 23rd at Bismarck Pentecostal Church with Bro. Van Glidewell officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Bower Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6- 8 Monday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Jay Spinks, Tyler Eads, Chase Buckholz, Garrett Buckholz, David Creech, Mark Morgan, Andy Morgan and Johnny Green. .
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Garland Nursing & Rehab., Dr. Ferdinand Roda, National Park Medical Surgery Unit, especially Natalie, Nichole and Kim. .
