Leland E. Rittman, 77, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, November 24, 2008. He was retired from the Federal Aviation Agency with 35 years of service, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances (Bednar) Rittman, of North Little Rock; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Jeff Cantwell, of Little Rock; son, Kevin Rittman, of Conway; sister, Allene Lammers, of Stuttgart; brother, Billy Rittman, of Conway; four grandchildren, Taylor and Brooke Rittman, both of Conway and John and Jacob Cantwell, both of Little Rock and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Verona Rittman; two brothers, Fred and Lee Roy Rittman; and two sisters, Minnie Lee and Maxine Rittman.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at St. Patrick?s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, followed by a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main 758-1170.
