Leland Bond

Leland Lee Bond, age 68, was born July 22, 1945 and died September 4, 2013 after battling cancer. He resided in Ward, Arkansas with his wife, Donna. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Marie Bond; his brother, Ron Harbin; his daughter, Valerie; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his mother, Neva Bond and his father, Leonard Bond.

Lee and Donna married July 2, 1967. They were married forty-six years. Lee retired after twenty some years in the Air Force where he served in the Vietnam War. He loved his country. After he retired from the Military, he went on to work at the Lonoke Co-op where he found a second family of kind, caring people and loved them all. Fishing was his favorite thing to do on the weekends with his wife, Donna. He loved the outdoors, grilling and sitting on the porch.

Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with visitation to begin at 4:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
