Lela Endsley

Lela Mae Endsley, 95, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was born on July 21, 1925 in Shreveport, Louisiana to J.D. and Luna Kee, and spent most of her adult life, raising her family in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a true Southern lady.

Lela was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Endsley, son-in-law, Sandy Sanders, and grandson, Judson Sanders. She is survived by her children, Gale Sanders of North Little Rock, Barry Endsley (Judy) of Calumet, MI, and Randy Endsley of Rogers, AR; grandchildren, Carmen Smith (Lance), Connor Endsley, Mary Taylor Endsley, Kevin Endsley (Ray), Cindy Richardson; and 3 great grandchildren.

Lela Mae was a proud member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, North Little Rock Women's Club and Beta Sigma Phi.

Lela (Granny to some) cherished time spent with friends and family and was always in for a social engagement, fun trip, or family get-togethers. She was known for her fantastic cooking and could design, sew or fix-up just about anything. Lela never saw a shade of pink that she didn't want on her boat, bathroom walls, or in her wardrobe. She loved traveling, reading books, spring flowers, chocolate ice cream and a good cocktail. Most of all she loved her family and will be dearly missed.

Please join the family next July when we can all gather safely for a memorial honoring Lela Mae's life. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 320 Executive Court, Suite 302, Little Rock, AR 72205 and online gifts at CFF.org/Arkansas .

Arrangements by Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home , 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114, 501-758-1170.
