Lela Benight

Lela Benight, of North Little Rock, was born May 24, 1934 and passed from this life on August 5, 2014 to be with the Lord and loved ones that preceded her in death. Her two husbands; Mickey Benight and Bill Benight; parents, Sid and Bruine Brewer; brother, Leonard Brewer; three sisters, Leathia Crutchfield, Edith Mashburn and Elzie Mashburn.
She is survived by her children, Phillip Benight (Becky), Leathia (LV) Ingram (John); grandchildren, Heather Mahan and Jeremy Garrett; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Hunter, Christopher, Parker, Morgan, Tara and Hailey; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Harley Brewer; eight sisters, Irma McCrotty, Barbara McCrotty, Mary Cheatham, Helen Weymouth, Joann Reynolds, Carolyn Smith, Sidney Scoles and Brenda Zelada, who was her loving caregiver.
Pallbearers are Al Weymouth, Bill Dickson, Joe Benight, Mark Benight and Wesley McCrotty and Terry Weymouth.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Online obituary at www.smithfamilycares.com .
