Lee Zettie "Liz" Pate

Lee Zettie "Liz" Pate, age 76, of Glenwood, died Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was born on September 19, 1935, at Rosboro, the daughter of Henry Todd and Lillie Mae Spears Todd. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elvin Pate, four brothers, Hubert Todd, Leroy Todd, J. D. Todd and Billy Todd; and two sisters, Linnis Burk and Opal Tigue. She was Baptist in her faith. She is survived by two sons, Andy Cogburn of Arkadelphia and Delton Pate and Sherry Cates, both of Glenwood; one granddaughter, Kristi Hill of Glenwood; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Roy Lobb of Lake Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Joe Cogburn officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Newhope under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Boonie Barrett, Josh Barrett, Shane Coffman, Craig Coffman, Kevin Yandell and John Whisenhunt. Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of Glenwood Health and Rehab.
