Leathia Mae Crutchfield, 82, of Benton, formerly of Little Rock went to be with her Lord on January 15, 2009. She was born August 31, 1926 in Little Rock to Sidney and Brunie Brewer.
Leathia was a loving mother, sister and Mae Mae. Her passions in life were her church, reading the bible, her children and being Mae Mae to many children. Her favorite past time was quilting.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carlee Crutchfield; and her daughter, Elizabeth Crutchfield. She is survived by her son, James Crutchfield, of the Ico Community; two daughters, Julie Knudsen, of Little Rock and Michelle Terry, of Mayflower; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; ten sisters, Elzie Mashburn, Lela Benight, Irma McCrotty, Barbara McCrotty, Joann Reynolds, Helen Weymouth, Mary Cheatham, Sidney Scoles, Carolyn Smith and Brenda Zelada; brother, Harley Brewer and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Saline Memorial Hospital and Saline Memorial Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday at Landmark Pentecostal Church in the Landmark Community. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
