Leatha Mitchell, 94, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2018. She was born August 4, 1923 in Morrilton, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Mary Edlemon.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy Ann Mitchell Havens and her husband Michael Douglas Havens; sister Tommie Hale; and other extended family. Leatha was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Robert Mitchell, who passed on September 25, 2016; and son Danny Ray Mitchell, who passed on November 18, 2013; and sisters, Lottie Housley and Willie Lawson.
Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. - 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, NLR, Arkansas 72114. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park, 2801 Asher Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.
