Leah Rebecca "Becky" Jones Phillips born June 27, 1936, died June 11, 2014. She was born in Heflin, Louisiana, lived at Little Rock Arkansas. Passed as Home Hospice of Arkansas on Bowman Rd. Quietly went to sleep to be with our Lord Jesus.
She worked for 33 years with the State of Arkansas "Girls and Boys Training School at Alexander, Arkansas.
She was an avid golfer-with the Little Rock Ladies Golf Association. Was a member at Western Hills Country Club for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Curtis Harrison Jones, and Ruth Catherine Jones, brother Vance Jones, sisters; Kathy Jones, Vivian Jones, Winifred Teetson, Virginia Alexander.
Living relatives; sister Linda J. Lamb, daughter and son in law, Rebecca Sue Phillips Savoy and Curtis C. Savoy, Jr. Grandson Joseph J. Savoy-Craft, Jessica Faye Craft-King. Jacqueline Denise Craft. Great grandchildren; Haley Sykes, Hayden Moses, Ryken King. Many nieces, and nephews along with great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Arkansas, St. Vincent Foundation, or Arkansas Alzheimer's . She was cremated and will be placed at Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin, LA.
Memorial services will be a "Celebration" of her life on June 28, 2014 at 3 pm at Huson Funeral Home on Mabelvale Pike Little Rock, AR, with a visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
