Leah Ann Esau, 75, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at her home in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born June 19,1947 in Panama City, Panama to the late Jess and Georgia Zink Love. Leah will be remembered as a loving Mom and Nana. Her daughters and her grandchildren were her greatest accomplishment and she loved and cared for them fiercely.  She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. Leah was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a proud graduate of Tulsa Central High School and the University of Tulsa. Trained as an educator, she strongly believed in the value of a good education and instilled this firmly into her daughters and grandchildren. She was always teaching them something! She moved from Tulsa to Jonesboro in 1983 and helped found Jiffy Printing Center. She returned to Tulsa in 2000 to assist in the care of her mother. In 2014, she moved to Sherwood, Arkansas to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She delighted in being around her family whether it was just visiting with them, spending time outside, or traveling with them.

Survivors include her daughter, Ellen Weiner and her husband Rion of North Little Rock; her identical twin sister, Jeannie Prince and her husband Roy of Lawton, OK; grandchildren, Lindsey Esau, Ethan Weiner, Evan Weiner, Garrett Granger, and Aaron Weiner all of North Little Rock as well as many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janna Esau; former husband, Joel Esau; niece, Catherine Sand; nephew, Edward Prince, and her very best friend, Vicki Sanders. A celebration of life will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Rd., North Little Rock, Arkansas with Rev. Roy Beth Kelley officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends after the service in Gibson Hall at the church.
