Our precious boy, Lawson David Phillips, 8 years old, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007. For someone who started out shy, he always managed to make a lasting impression on everyone he touched. He lived each day of his life to the fullest by rising early each morning and making the most of everyday. He was a student at Bayou Meto Elementary School, loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding his pony, the farm life and camping with his family. He also loved baseball, football and was a member of the Golden Twisters football team.
He is survived by his parents, David E. Phillips and Lorey K. Moody Phillips; brother, Christopher Curtis; sister, Hannah Curtis; grandparents, David and Billie Jo Phillips, all of North Little Rock and Willie and Alice ?Nell? Frazier, of Benton; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Hunter Phillips who is not only a cousin but a friend, closer than a brother. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ira Ancel Moody and a sister, Catie McKenzy Curtis.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday at Somers Avenue Church of Christ. Burial will be in Bayou Meto Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M., Sunday at Somers Avenue Church of Christ. Services conducted by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
