Lavonne Thomason

Lavonne Thomason age 75 of Shreveport, LA died Saturday, December 10, 2016. She was born in Clark County the daughter of Foster and Nell Toland Murphy. She was a member of the Woodbridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Thomason and three sisters, Peggy Parks, Mary Smith, and Patsy Powell. Survivors include one son, James (Cynthia) Thomason of Shreveport, one daughter, Melissa (Steven) Hughes of Keithville, LA, two sisters, Barbara (Wayne) Daggett of Lone Hill Township, Kay (Jimmy) Serratt of Valliant, OK, 4 grandchildren, Taylor and Emily Hughes and Kimber Renee and Kimberlin Michelle Thomason, and one niece Robin Smith. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 18th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia, AR. There will be no formal visitation.
