Lavon Noe

Lavon Idell Noe, 95, of Beebe, Arkansas, peacefully entered Heaven's gates, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

She was born to Fritz and Hattie Faulk of Opal on November 9, 1922. She was a tomboy at heart and loved to tell stories of how she led her high school basketball team to a championship. Not only was she an amazing athlete, she graduated top of her class and received a scholarship to Draughns Business School. She worked many jobs over the years, but her favorite by far was being a loving wife, mother and friend.

Lavon is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Noe, son Randy Noe, son-in-law W. C. Baker, great granddaughter Maudie Carpenter, and sister Inez Davidson.

She is survived by her daughter Vonda Baker; grandchildren Scotty and Kristin Baker, and Renee Carpenter; great grandchildren Vanity and Danyell Johnson, Nate and Heather Carpenter, Candi and Dakota Treece, and Christopher Baker; great great grandchildren DeMarco Moore, Hayden and Brooklynn Carpenter, Londyn Johnson, Talynn, Jayce and Ben Treece, as well as many other friends and family.

The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to Summit Hospice; specifically, Nicole, Heath and Scott for their compassion and support during this difficult time.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside funeral service will be noon Monday, October 29, 2018 at Massey Cemetery in Opal. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. www.smithfamilycares.com
