Laverne Masters

Laverne Masters, 87, of Bismarck, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Christus Dubuis Long Term Care at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

She was born March 17, 1935, in Prescott, Arkansas, to David Columbus Parker and Bessie Mae King Parker.

Laverne enjoyed sewing, painting and her tiny toy poodles.  She also loved spending time with all of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Otis Tate; her husband, Weldon Stanley Masters; her sister, Florene Rosing and her brother, Hubert Parker.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stella Marie Seale of Bismarck, Arkansas; her son, Michael Anthony Masters and his wife Gigi of Michigan; her sister, Lanell Nash and Tommy of Prescott, Arkansas; her grandchildren, James and Sandra Schee of Bismarck, Arkansas, Jonathan and Tiffany Schee of Bismarck, Leah Masters of Orlando, Florida and Michael Anthony Masters, Junior of Clearwater, Florida; nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Laverne’s memorial service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Boughton Baptist Church in Prescott, Arkansas with Brother Joey Christopher officiating.
