Laverne Calton, age 77 of Delight, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, in Hot Springs.
She was born September 29, 1940, the daughter of Clyde and Eula Childers Bailey in Delight, AR. She was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God Church. She was an exceptional cook. Her specialties were baking cakes, pies and candies.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Ted Bailey. She is survived by first cousins, Faye Cheek, and Syble Lewallen of Antoine, AR, Ray Bailey, and Ruth Lockwood of Delight, AR, Joan McKinnon, and Glenn Childers of Prescott, AR.
Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Delight First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Danny Eckert officiating and burial in Bethel Cemetery. The visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time.
