LaVada M. Morgan, age 87, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021.
She was born on November 26, 1933, the daughter of Ernest Jewel Cogburn and Maggie Lois Pate Cogburn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and she was the oldest and last living of eleven children.
LaVada graduated from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, with a teaching degree. She retired from Window Mart in Hot Springs. LaVada enjoyed teaching computer classes at the SeniorNet Outreach Program through CHI St. Vincent, Hot Springs.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Olga Ware of Ft. Worth, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Lydia and Michael Kutzler of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; her granddaughter, Jennifer Ware; her great-granddaughter, Jasmin, both of Arlington, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
