Laurence Wendel
Laurence G. Wendel, age 90, of Mount Vernon, died Friday, March 4, 2011. He was a rural mail carrier for twenty-nine years for Mount Vernon and Enola. Laurence was a veteran of WWII and was a Lutheran. He is survived by his wife, Doris Wendel, of Mount Vernon; two sons, Gordon (Kathy) Wendel of Mount Vernon and Glen (Janice) Wendel of Rose Bud; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Laurence was preceded in death by one grandson.
