Laura C. Taylor age 80 of Arkadelphia died Monday, December 30, 2013. She was born April 8, 1933 in Dardanelle, AR the daughter of Denver Colorado and Clara Audie Kirk Stewart. She was a member of the Degray Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, A V Taylor, a son Larry Taylor, a brother, Bruce Stewart, two sisters, Lavona Davis and Jean Martinez.
Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn (Orville) Buck and Reba (Jerry) Bruce both of Arkadelphia, two brothers, Jack Stewart of Heber Springs and Richard Stewart of Indianapolis, IN, three sisters, Mildred Jackson and Lola Price both of Cabot and Betty Hamilton of England, AR, five grandchildren, Kimberly Gray and Shelly Muniz both of Arkadelphia, Angila Frost and Laura Bruce both of Hot Springs, and Larry A. Taylor Jr. of Utah, six great grandchildren, Darren Shaw, Jessica Ross, Samantha Buck, Jayla Buck, and Krista Gray all of Arkadelphia and Taylor Miles of Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, January 3, 2014 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Young and Rev. Danny Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Darren Shaw, Patrick, Bilodeau, Jason Frost, Jerry Muniz, Steven Jackson, and Terry Gray. Honorary pallbearer is Ben Pritchard.
