Laura Harrison

Laura Frances Dunn Harrison, 88, of North Little Rock left this earthly life while attended by her family at her home on March 4, 2014. Frances (Fran) was an outstanding mother, aunt and friend whose capacity for love, compassion and acceptance knew no bounds. She was born in Bearden, Arkansas, graduated high school in Camden, Arkansas, then got married and started her family. Along with being a wife and mother, Frances worked in the banking industry, first in Fayetteville and later in Little Rock for many years.
Frances was predeceased by her parents, Laura and Neal Dunn, her siblings, Leonard Dunn, Farrell Dunn and Floy Anderson, her sister of the heart Pat Sidebottom, her former husband Dr. Vale Harrison, and by her beloved son Paul Harrison. She is survived by her children, Vicki Gasaway (Danny), Richard Harrison and Charles Harrison (Laurie), her daughter-in-law Eileen Harrison, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Frances will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was the type of mother that one could only hope to have-a genuine treasure. Her passing will leave a void that cannot be completely filled, but the joy of her memory and what she meant to so many will help comfort those she left behind.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday at Lakewood United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. A private burial will be at a later date. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
