Larry Wood
Larry Wood, 71, of North Little Rock, passed away April 26, 2015. Born in Little Rock to Otis B. and Ruth Hughes Wood, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Larry served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1967 and was a member of the VFW and served on the Governors Commission for Individuals with Disabilities from 1997 to 2000.
Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, he is survived by his wife, Kay Wood; daughters, Stephanie Thomson of Cabot, Danielle Wood of North Little Rock and Angela Wood of Huntsville, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 6:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Paul Holderfield. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 5:00 PM.
