Larry W. McCauley

Larry W. McCauley, age 64 of Daisy, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2011. He was born on November 22, 1946, at Nashville, the son of Delton Arvil McCauley and Madie Lee Bell McCauley. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was retired from Weyerhauser, where he worked for 37 years and was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church. He loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda McCauley of Daisy; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Verma McCauley of Newhope; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Linda Gaston of Norman; his sister-in-law, Lorene Herring of Longview, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 11, 2011, in the Mt. Joy Cemetery in Daisy with Bro. Raymond Dees officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Genesis Cancer Center, Dr. Stephen Divers and his staff, Hospice of Central Arkansas and his special hospice nurses, Beth and Deana.
