Larry "Touch" Vaught, age 54, of Glenwood passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born on February 4, 1961, in Huntington, Indiana, the son of Bobby Jack Vaught and Clara Jeanette Jimerson Vaught. On January 10, 2009, he married Sheryl Lynn Harris. He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; his brother, Bobby Gene Vaught; and his aunt, Dorothy De Loach. He was a member of the Abundant Faith Church and worked for many years as a logger. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed being outdoors, and his greatest joy in life was being blessed to have all the many special times that he and Aeryn went fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, and will always be remembered for being so full of life. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Vaught and his precious daughter, Aeryn Vaught, both of Glenwood; his mother, Jeanette Harvey of Glenwood; his stepdaughter and her husband, Ginger and Lloyd Kesterson of Donaldson; his stepson, Reese Harris of Glenwood; two grandchildren, Edsal Wayne Kesterson and Honey Marie Kesterson; his brother, Bobby James Vaught of Malvern; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Carol Harris of Hot Springs; his brother-in-law and his wife, Billy and Jennifer Harris of Fort Smith; his sister-in-law and her husband, Shelly and Tim Glass of Fort Smith; several nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 26, 2015, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Richard Mohlenhoff officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Langley Hall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Long, Jamie Huey, Danny Britt, Mike Whisenhunt, Brad Whisenhunt and Ronnie Chambers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David DeSoto and his nurses and staff with special thanks for all the wonderful care given to Larry. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
