Larry Thomas Thompson, age 69 of Arkadelphia, died Saturday July 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1944, in Arkadelphia, the son of Henry and Florence Thompson. He was a heavy equipment operator, owned and operated a locksmith shop in Florida for many years. Larry was an U. S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Floyd, Frank, Donnie and Bobbie Thompson and one sister, Betty Wilks.
Survivors are his wife, Sammie Lou Freeman Thompson, one son, Timothy Wayne Thompson of Bismarck; two step-children, Ryan Keith Hammonds of Hot Springs, Rebecca Lynn Hammonds of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Bill Thompson of West Palm Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Samantha Noel Lee, Emily Faith Lee and Gabriel Hammonds.
There are no services planned.
