Larry Heslep
Larry E. Heslep, 69, of Sherwood passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at home with his family and friends after an 11 year battle with cancer. He was a retired truck driver, home builder and an avid fan of horse racing.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, JoAnn Heslep, of Sherwood; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Jan Heslep, of Searcy, Greg and Angela Heslep, of North Little Rock and Keith and Sandra Heslep, of Cabot; four sisters, Gwen Couch, of North Little Rock, Norma Taylor (Bennie) of DeValls Bluff, Karen Karps (John) of Hot Springs and Cheryl Daugherty, of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, Cortney Browning (Robert), Justin Heslep, Jamie Waire (Blaine), Heath Heslep and Holly Heslep; and four great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Kaylie, Wesley and Carson. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Esther Heslep and one brother, Ronnie Heslep.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
