Larry Ballard

Bro. Larry Almon Ballard, 76, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 with his wife at his side. Born in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas to Ray and Edith Lemke Ballard, he became a Minister in the Baptist Church, serving in many churches in Arkansas. He was the beloved Pastor of Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock for 24 years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Billy Ballard, Diane Burton and Janet Ballard, and one grandchild, Jamey Ballard. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Ballard; children, Theresa Billson (Chad), David Ballard (Shelly) and Steve Ballard (Kim), all of Sherwood, Tim Ballard of Little Rock and Jamey Ballard (Julie) of Wooster; siblings, Pat Ballard, Ricky Ballard (Tolise), Peggy Vines (Melvin) and Donna Peeples (Danny); twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 1:00, at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, followed by interment at Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Program at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
