Lanny Brannon
Lanny J. Brannon, 71, of Little Rock, passed away September 24, 2013. He was born in Damascus, Arkansas to Thurman C. and Esta Mae Cossey Brannon, who preceded him in death along with his brother, Larry S. Brannon. He was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity and raised in the Baptist faith. Lanny was Past President of the Arkansas Hair Fashion Committee.
He is survived by his wife, Levita Brannon; son, Kevin Brannon of New York City; sister, Virginia Reece of Little Rock; uncle, F. O. Brannon of Mt. View; aunt, Cleo Luten of Malvern; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Mr. John McDaniel and Gerald Harlan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easter Seals Arkansas, 3920 Woodland Heights Rd., Little Rock, AR 72212.
