Lana Fay Clendenin, age 70, of Malvern, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021.
She was born on November 21, 1950, in Gorman, Texas, the daughter of Elzie Earnest Clendenin and Zora Lee Pryor Clendenin. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Norman Clendenin; and one nephew, Troy Clendenin.
Lana was a Christian in her faith and she adored and cherished her family. She looked forward every year to competing in the Special Olympics with bowling and track and field her favorite events. She loved country music and had a sweet, contrite spirit. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Leon French of Malvern; her brother, Dale Clendenin of Comanche, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Jana McDonald, Ricky French, Scott Clendenin, Tara Harbuck, Melissa Vanvalkenburg and Jennifer Williams; and several great-nieces and great-nephews which include Braydon McDonald and Brittney Nacole Horton.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 4, 2021, in Bethel Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Scroggins officiating.
Pallbearers will be James McDonald, Braydon McDonald and Ricky French.
