L. Bernice Chapin

Loula Bernice Chapin, wife of the late Dr. John Chapin passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the age of 88. She graduated from North Little Rock High School. Bernice was a nurse at the Veterans Administration, where she met the love of her life, Dr. John Chapin. A longtime resident of Conway; she and her husband had a farm where they raised a garden, and cared for their many animals. She loved all animals, especially her dog Chester, who is being cared for by Bernice's best friend Wanda Rickman. Bernice was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Conway.

A visitation for Bernice will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Griffin Leggett Conway, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Arkansas. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Grace Presbyterian Church, 1010 Hogan Lane, Conway, Arkansas 72034.

Bernice will be laid to rest in Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Grace Presbyterian Church.
