Kyle Gunter Martin, born on September 19, 1988, in Benton, Arkansas, passed away on January 30, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness that touched the lives of many.
Kyle dedicated many years to his career as a skilled welder and delivery driver, embracing every challenge with passion and dedication. However, his true pride came from his artistry; he was an accomplished tattoo artist, renowned for his unique designs that his clients proudly described as “Kyle Martin Tattoos.” His talent extended beyond ink and metal—Kyle was also a gifted musician who found joy in playing both the guitar and drums, adding rhythm and harmony to the lives around him.
Above all, Kyle was a devoted family man. His world revolved around his beautiful daughter, Shala, whom he adored. He cherished every moment spent with her, particularly teaching her how to play baseball. His role as a father also included imparting lessons on boxing to his step-son, Camron. Kyle’s loving wife of ten years, Tabitha Martin, stood by him as a steadfast partner through life's ups and downs. Together, they were active members of the Alexander Outreach Center, volunteering four days a week to distribute food and mentor young people in their community.
Kyle was known not only for his artistic talents and commitment to his family but also for his generous spirit. In his final act of kindness, he became a hero by donating his organs through ARORA, a selfless decision that has provided others with hope for healthier lives.
Kyle leaves behind his loving wife, Tabitha Martin; his daughter, Shala Martin; his step-son, Camron Kesl; his father, Michael Martin; his step-mother, Pamela Lawrence; his siblings, Sam Martin and wife Blakelee, Travis Martin, and Emily Martin; two cousins, Kendall Davis and Jenni Vaughn, who affectionately referred to themselves as the "Three Musketeers" alongside Kyle; and his close friends, often referred to as his “boys,” Shane, John, and Bunji. He is also mourned by a host of family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Kyle is preceded in death by his best friend, Tim Tompkins.
