Krystyana "Kay" Christopher Miller

Krystyana "Kay" Christopher Miller, age 26, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was born on January 8, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Douglas Wayne Christopher and Sarah Jane Keene Coleman. On October 13, 2012, she was married to the love of her life, Brian Keith Miller. She was preceded in death by her father; her maternal grandmother, Janet Chandler Keene; and her paternal grandparents, Cleveland and Mary Christopher. She was a faithful member of the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene; an avid reader, and her favorite pastime was visiting with friends and family on Facebook. She will always be remembered for her beautiful singing voice; her love for all animals; and for having a tender and kind heart for anyone she would meet. Kay was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, who will be deeply missed by all but her memory will live on in each of their hearts forever. She is survived by her husband, Brian Miller of Glenwood; her mother and stepfather, Sarah and Jerry Coleman, Jr. of Glenwood; her brother, Eryk Coleman of Glenwood; three sisters, Mary Preston of Florida, Patricia Christopher Shermeister of Utah and Shawn Christopher of Maryland; her maternal grandfather, Rev. Andrew D. Keene of Bradshaw, Maryland; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Martha Thompson of Alabama; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, David and Kathy Miller and Joey Miller, all of Alabama and Allen and Debra Miller of Wisconsin; one sister-in-law, Dolly Reeves of Alabama; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, in the Glenwood First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Warren Foxworthy officiating. Visitation will be held Monday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Coker Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Jeff Evans, Larry Harvey, Gerald Matthew Palmer, Nathaniel Lantz, Robert Lane, Michael Kilfether, David Miller and Brian Miller. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
