Klugh "Tiger" Sorrells, II

February 14, 1964 — November 26, 2021

Klugh “Tiger” Sorrells, II, age 57, of Mabelvale, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021.

He was born on February 14, 1964, in Hot Springs, the son of Klugh Edward Sorrells and Wanda June Fisher Sorrells. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Klugh was a Christian in his faith. He worked for Caterpillar and Sorrells Research. He also owned and operated Arrow Head Services.

Klugh, who was known to many as Tiger, was a man who had touched so many lives. He had always said that his mother had given him the nickname Tiger because he came into this world roaring and he was always a fighter. He was so full of spirit from an early age that the name Tiger fit so well. He loved being outdoors and just working in the yard. One of his biggest accomplishments in his life was his family but being called dad and pawpaw were the greatest. He loved his grandbabies more than anything in this world. He had a personality that it made him easy to be liked and loved. He will be dearly missed by all of those whose life he had touched and loved.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Hannah and Richard Retford of Glenwood; five grandchildren, Isaiah N. Sorrells, Mason S. Sorrells, Layla R. Retford, Greyston E. Retford and Declan “Tigger” Retford; the mother of his child, Denise Leith of Jefferson City, Missouri; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Debra Sorrells of Royal, Cecil A. Sorrells of Lonsdale and Karl E. and Heidi Sorrells of Maumelle; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorra S. and Ricky Hill of Royal and Virginia E. and Henry Dodson of Jacksonville; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
