Dr. Kimberly Diane McNew, of Spartanburg, South Carolina died December 11, 2011. She was born July 22, 1983 in Orange, California, a daughter of Rick and Ann Kolb McNew. She was a traveling Physical Therapist associated with Delta Flex Corporation and worked in the southeastern U.S. Dr. McNew was a graduate of Hoover High School, Hoover, Alabama and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Carson Newman University, Knoxville, Tennessee. She received her Masters and DPT Degrees from the University of St. Augustine, Florida. As a young girl she was an avid Girl Scout and was a Gold Award winner. Dr. McNew was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church, Hoover Alabama.
Survivors include her parents of Carlisle, Arkansas, a brother Jonathan McNew of Little Rock, Arkansas, a special friend Jeff Crain, Landrum, South Carolina and her paternal grandmother, Neola McNew of Beebe Arkansas.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Hebron Methodist Church, Carlisle, Arkansas, with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
