Kimberly Renee (Burgess) Caipen Johnson, of Sherwood left us to be with her Savior Tuesday, June 22, 2010. She was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Kim touched the lives of many and loved by even more, she will be sadly missed.
Preceded in death by J B and Freda Reed, of Searcy, and Bobbye Burgess, of Wooster.
She is survived by her son, Russell "Rusty" Caipen Jr., of Sherwood; parents Diane Garvin and Harold, of Sherwood, and Mike Burgess and Karen, of Bryant; siblings Katherine "Kathy" Smith, of Benton, Tracy Perry and David, of Little Rock, Clay Garvin and Melissa, of Cabot, Leigh Ann Garvin, of Sherwood, and Jackie Lindsay, of Conway; nephews Hayden "Toad" Smith, of Benton, and Evan Metzger, of Conway; grandfather, Rev. Cecil Burgess, of Wooster; and the love of her life Russ Caipen, of Florida.
She was a Searcy High graduate, class of 87, and a member of Berean Baptist Church, North Little Rock. In celebration of Kim a memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Monday June 28th at Berean Baptist Church, 5512 Pike Ave., North Little Rock. The family will also receive friends and loved ones 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Sunday June 27th at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com, and facebook postings on Kim's behalf.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Berean Baptist Church or Humane Society of Pulaski County.
