Kevin Edward Nutt, 50, a lifelong resident of North Little Rock died Saturday, June 4, 2011. Kevin was a loving husband and father who loved spending time with his family and friends, going to the lake, and riding motorcycles. He was baptized as an infant at Lakewood United Methodist Church and graduated from Northeast High School in 1980. Kevin was Senior Vice President of J.W. Nutt Company. He valued his friends and business associates in the poultry and grain industries.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Connie Nutt; children, Mallory Nutt of North Little Rock and her fiancé, Tyler Davis of Harrison, AR, Jenna Nutt, Austin Nutt, Ashley White and Courtney White all of North Little Rock; mother, Joie Nutt of North Little Rock; his brother, David Nutt and wife, Lisa; sister, Sharon Saunders and husband, Scott, all of North Little Rock; nieces, Melissa and husband, John Mark Saviers, Laura Nutt all of North Little Rock, Sarah and Clint Davis of Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Nutt; grandparents, Jack & Mildred Nutt and Sid & Frankie Thompson.
Memorials may be made to Jones Eye Institute, UAMS Medical Center, 4301 West Markham, LR 72205; Lakewood United Methodist Church,1922 Topf Road, NLR 72116 or charity of your choice.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, June 9, at Lakewood United Methodist Church with burial at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
