Kevin Lee Allen, 33, of El Paso, Arkansas, was born April 27, 1977, at Searcy, Arkansas, and he died Sunday, November 14, 2010, after a long, courageous battle with renal failure. At age 16, he received a generous gift of a kidney from his Uncle Eugene. He was a wonderful father, husband, son and brother.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Paula Allen of El Paso; his son, Brandon; his parents, Edna and Raymond Allen of Floyd; two brothers, Michael Allen of Searcy and Justin Allen of Floyd; his sister, Michelle Poole and husband John of Bradford; aunts and uncles, Eugene and Cora Orvis, George and Gail Orvis, Katherine and Junior McDaniel, Paul and Vivian Cook; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W. M. and Grace Orvis and Fred and Emma Allen.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Floyd Baptist Church, with burial in New Floyd Cemetery.
