Kenny Eugene Stroud, 51, of North Little Rock, passed away suddenly Friday, June 1, 2007. He was the youngest child of Robert and Mildred Kordsmeier Stroud. Kenny attended St. Patrick?s Grade School, graduated from Catholic High School (1974) and from the University of Arkansas (1978). He obtained his MBA in 1980 from Indiana State University. He then returned to North Little Rock to work in the family business, Stroud Service. Later he worked at Stephens, Inc and was Vice President of fixed income sales.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and volunteered at the NLR Boys and Girls Club.
Kenny married Gracia Dougan on December 30, 1978. They have three children, Kelvin, 24, Kelsey, 22, and Kyle, 21. He is also survived by his parents; sisters, Marilyn (Chris) Garbacz, Libby (Nano) Turchi, and Phyllis Stroud; brothers, Bob (Karen) and Bill (Denise).
In lieu of flowers, the Strouds request memorials be made to the Kenny Stroud Scholarship Fund in care of Arkansas Community Foundation, Union Station Suite 206, 1400 West Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
