Kenny Chambers, age 59, of Hopper passed away, Monday, April 6, 2015. He was born on February 17, 1956, in Camden the son of David Chambers, Jr. and Virgie Cogburn Chambers. On June 6, 1988, he was married to Tracy Scantling. Kenny enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, nature, was an avid outdoorsman and a witty and funny storyteller. He was a true animal lover, which definitely included his two special dogs, Booger Boy and Petey. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Scantling of Hopper; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Ross Montgomery of Russellville; Alicia and Mike Farringer of Wickes and a special sister to his daughters, Lindy Foster of Russellville; five grandchildren, Luke Montgomery, Avery Montgomery, Mallory Farringer, Grayson Farringer and Joshua Farringer; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean and Debbie Chambers of Kirby and Dickey and Kelly Chambers of Hot Springs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolores and Gene Cowart of Langley and Vicky and Jim Gray of Pontotoc, Mississippi; several nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2015, in the Fancy Hill Cemetery with Dewight Mack, Dewayne Mack and Nick Flowers officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Jason Cowart, Jordon Cowart, Adam Chambers, Rickey Chambers, Andrew Chambers, Nick Flowers, Chris Henderson, Mike Farringer and Ross Montgomery.
