Kenneth "Mark" Harp

Kenneth Mark Harp passed away on 14 April 2021 from a long illness.  He was a Vietnam Vet assigned to 2nd Battalion, 32nd Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division.  He was wounded on 27 November 1971, but nobody put him in for the Purple Heart Award until his records got reviewed at VA and then after 30 years, he was awarded his medal on 20 December 01.

Mark enjoyed going to long distance shooting ranges and was an excellent shot taking out targets 1000m away.  He also enjoyed talking about his golf course days as a Superintendent overseas and he always kept up with the latest in electronic gadgets that made life easier.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Harp and his mother, Margaret Louise Harp (Danforth), and recently his brother David also passed.  Mark is survived by brother James M. Harp residing in Texas.
