Kenneth Wayne Dean, Sr.

Kenneth Wayne Dean, Sr., age 59, of Amity, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020.

He was born on December 12, 1960, in Hot Springs, the son of Tillman William Dean and Gracie Gertrude Rasberry Dean. He was preceded in death by his son, Elliott Dean; his parents; his sister, Betty Travis; and his sister-in-law, Christy Dean.

He enjoyed doing yard work, fishing, floating the Caddo River, especially for his yearly Father’s Day trip with his son, and he deeply loved his grandchildren. Kenneth was truly a one of a kind guy, who will always be remembered as a true jokester.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Dean, Jr. and his wife, Danielle of Hot Springs; his daughter, Destiny Dean of Sacramento, California; seven grandchildren, Beau, Cole, Serenity, Cheyanne and Wyatt Dean, and Malachi Dean and Tavaris Dean; his brother, Billy Dean of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, Susan Shirley of Glenwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood.
