Kenneth Wallace

August 2, 1941 — December 2, 2021

Kenneth Wallace

Kenneth Wayne Wallace, Sr., 80, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 2, 2021.  He was born August 2, 1941, in Jefferson County, Alabama to the late Madison Wallace and Margaret (Smith) Dodd.

Kenneth retired from driving trucks for Red Arrow, North Carolina, and ABF.  Even though he drove trucks, he made sure he was home every night.  Kenneth worked hard in order to take care of his family, sometimes even working two jobs.  He was an amazing husband and father.  He was a constant supporter and never missed his sons’ and grandsons’ ballgames.  Kenneth adored his wife and his children.  He said prayers over them every morning.  When his boys were still at home, he would quietly go into their room before heading out to work each day and kiss them on their head and tell them he loved them.  Kenneth loved the Lord and was a member of Centerpoint Church.  He was a talented storyteller and wrote songs and poetry.  Kenneth enjoyed driving through North Arkansas in the fall to see the beautiful leaves changing colors.  He would drive to Mount Magazine, Petit Jean, and Nebo.  You could often find Kenneth sitting on his front porch-his favorite place to be.  (When searching his address on Google Earth, you can actually see him sitting on his porch!)

Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty-three years, Bettie Jean Wallace of Benton, Arkansas; two sons:  Jody Wallace and wife Stephanie of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Kenneth Wallace, Jr. and wife Melinda of Tuscumbia, Alabama; five grandchildren:  Kaylee Wallace, Noah Wallace, Joshua Wallace, Emma Wallace, and Ethan Wallace; and many more family members and friends who love Kenneth and will miss him always.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 PM-3:00 PM, Sunday, December 5, 2021, followed by memorial service at 3:00 PM, at Centerpoint Church, 20383 I-30, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
