Kenneth Ray Townsend, 58, of Benton, Arkansas passed away August 28, 2018. He was born August 7, 1960 in Benton to Becky (Browning) Townsend and the late Alton "Wayne" Townsend.
Kenneth was a well-known Elvis impersonator who performed for charity events. He was very knowledgeable in computer programming and worked as a Senior System Analyst taking care of all Wal-Mart computer systems. He enjoyed spending time fishing and entered fishing tournaments with his sister (who usually "out-fished" him!). Kenneth's favorite hobby was going rock hunting with his favorite rock hunting buddy, Aunt Lou Ann Cameron. He had an extensive movie collection and was an avid movie watcher.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Julia Dawn Townsend; father, Alton "Wayne" Townsend; and brother, Alan Wayne Townsend.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, DeLeah Jones of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren: Thomas Griffith, Enki Melton, and Deacon Melton; mother, Becky Townsend of Benton, Arkansas; sister, Linda Kitchens and husband Russell of Benton; soul mate, Tamie Townsend of Bryant, Arkansas; favorite aunt, Lou Ann Cameron of Benton; nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends who love Kenneth and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 4, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
