Kenneth Pounders
Kenneth Eugene Pounders, 59, of Pine Bluff passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2007. He was an engineer for Missouri Pacific Railroad for 20 years and a Navy veteran. He was the Web master for the USS Lowry Association and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity.
He is survived by his son, Brad Pounders, of Pine Bluff; daughter, Niki Fakouri and husband, Jason, of Sherwood; grandchild, Nickolas Fakouri; father, William Pounders, of Benton; two sisters, Dianna Gant and husband Dennis, of Benton and Sharon Weaver and husband, Dwight, of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and mother of his children, Marian Pounders, of Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty B. Pounders and a daughter, Leslie Elizabeth Pounders.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 6213 Lee Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
