Kenneth Wade McGraw, 84, of Little Rock, passed away March 4, 2012 at Hospice Home Care. He was born in DeWitt on November 1, 1927 and worked as a Merchant Marine for many years out of San Francisco, California. Moving back to Little Rock in the late 1960s, he was a machinist for CPC International for many years until his retirement. Kenneth was a master in his trade and enjoyed his work. He loved animals, had a passion for learning and read the encyclopedia for enjoyment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lola Mae McGraw, brothers, Harry McGraw and Joe McGraw, daughter, Janice Mae McGraw and son, Lawrence "Pepper" McGraw. He is survived by his daughters, Juanita Laughlin of Bend, Oregon, Nancy McGraw of Benton, and Kim McGraw of Little Rock; sons, Kenneth M. McGraw of Hankinson, North Dakota and Gerald McGraw of Gainesville, Georgia; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday, March 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Dr. Bob Dunaway, followed by interment with Military Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
