Kenneth Ray McAnally, age 67, of Daisy went home on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

He was born on May 15, 1956, in Texarkana, AR to Robert “Bob” McAnally and Margaret Mays Page. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Gordon Randall; his beloved wife of 42 years, Becky McAnally; his grandson, Phoenix Galbraith; and his granddaughters, Adiele and Marley Crutchfield.

Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy, worked as a refrigeration and heating and air mechanic before pursuing his lifelong dream of attending college. He earned his degree in History and Political Science with a coaching endorsement in 1991 from Arkansas Tech University. He taught and coached many students during his years. He loved coaching and he loved his players; his teams were like family. Kenneth loved sports and he loved coaching his children. Kenneth was a follower of Christ and was a Freewill Baptist. Kenneth taught his children the true meaning of faith, reciting and memorizing Hebrews 11:1.

He loved books and was an avid reader. Kenneth loved taking a day off work to go for a drive, finding the perfect milkshake, eating all the pecans off the top of the pecan pie, his Cowboys and Razorbacks, watching his children play sports, writing poetry, winning at chess, riding his bike and going for hikes. He loved traveling with Carol to places that he had taught about in his history classes. He found beauty and God in nature. He loved his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol McAnally of Daisy; daughter and son-in-law, Misti and Keith Bell of Hot Springs; daughter, Anna Galbraith of Hot Springs, son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Sarah McAnally of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Spencer Bell, Paisley Galbraith, Dean, Emmatt, Ellison, and Matily McAnally; step-children and spouses, Stacy and Dan Breshears of Bonnerdale, Aaron and August Wright of Texarkana, and Kenny and Melanie Wright of Shreveport, LA; their children, Cora, Addison, Lily, Elijah, Zoey, Klaire, Katherine, and Elly; brothers, Donald McAnally of Hot Springs Village and Tommy McAnally of Texarkana; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Mike Guthrie of Conway; his best friend, Tony Martin of Dierks; nieces and nephews.
