Kenneth Mack Lehman, 79, of McRae, Arkansas, lost his battle with melanoma on September 22, 2008. Mack was born on March 19, 1929, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Ralph and Lillie Mae Lehman. He graduated from Fayetteville High School and attended the University of Arkansas. Mack served in the Arkansas National Guard, the United States Air Force, the Army during the Korean War and finished his military career with twenty years in the Submarine Service in the United States Navy. He retired from the Navy in 1978 and moved to the Beebe/McRae area. Mack finished his college education graduating from Webster University with a Masters in Human Relations. In 1988 he and his wife opened a printing and engraving business in Beebe, Arkansas. Lehman Graphics Center served the business community for fourteen years. After selling the business in 2001, he retired to his blueberry farm in McRae, Arkansas.
Mack Lehman is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Frances, a brother, Jack and an infant daughter, Merri Beth. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Patricia Morgan Lehman; two daughters, Cathy Kearney (Mike) of Huntsville, Alabama and Patty Price (Donnie) of Savannah, Tennessee; grandsons Patrick and Christopher Kearney; granddaughter Catherine Price and grandson Jeffrey and wife Katie of the United States Air Force; one brother, Glenn Lehman of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He also leaves two stepchildren, Victoria Phelps (Bobby) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Randy Bruce (Tammy) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and their children.
The family will receive visitors at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe to honor and celebrate his life on Friday, September 26, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
