Kenneth H, Raines, age 63, of Amity, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021.
He was born on November 27, 1957, in Glenwood, the son of Harold Loyd Raines and Clydie Sue Smith Raines. On November 17, 1978, he was married to Janet Hemund. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Billy Dock Lambert.
He was a technical engineer for Rimfire Technical Services and had worked as a surveyor for the state of Arkansas, as well as a horticulturist for Spring Creek Nursery. An avid hunter, he was a member of the A-Frame Deer Lease and enjoyed participating in the Chuck Wagon Races. His favorite hobby and greatest pleasure were his grandsons, Eli and Jaxon. He was a Christian in his faith.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Raines of Amity; his son and daughter-in-law, Jacob and Kristen Raines of Amity; his daughter, Constance Raines of Hot Springs; his grandsons, Eli and Jaxon Raines; his brother, Johnny Raines of Kirby; his sister, Vicky Wilson of Murfreesboro; his half-sister, Tammy Parker and her husband, Randy, of Malvern; his step-sister, Terina Cook and her husband, Scott, of Amity; and his nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
