Kenneth W. Carroll, 83, of Sherwood, passed away on November 13, 2016. He was born June 26, 1933 in DeQueen, Arkansas to John Henry and Edith Carroll.
Kenneth retired from the United States Army after many years of service. His military service included tours in Germany, Panama, Honduras and several stateside locations. He is survived by his son Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Kenneth Wayne Carroll, Jr. (Joan); three daughters, Pollyanna Smith (Steve), Barbara Lynn Bachelor, Susan Smitherman (Mark); 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and other extended family. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Carroll; sister Barbara Jeanne Butler and his parents.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer Association, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, AR, 72205.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 North, Alexander. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.
